Help for the gross contour search field in Themefinder

Guidelines for searching by gross contour:

Contour describes the shape of a melody through the 'movement' or direction of the intervals. For gross contour search three types of movement are distinguished: by ascending interval, by descending interval, and repetition.

/ (slash) = ascending interval.
\ (backslash) = descending interval.
- (dash) = repetition.
